WITHOUT COURAGE, WISDOM BEARS NO FRUIT
All serious daring starts from within.
Conscience is the root of all true courage;
if a man would be brave let him obey his conscience.
Patience and perseverance have a magical effect
before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.
With courage you wll dare to take risks,
have the strength to be compassionate,
and the wisdom to be humble.
Courage is the foundation of integrity.
COURAGE IN THE WIND
If you lose hope,
somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving,
you lose that courage to be,
that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all.
History, despite its wrenching pain,
cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage,
need not be lived again
One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential.
Without courage, we cannot practise any other virtue with consistency.
We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous or honest.
The test of courage comes when we are in the minority.
The test of tolerance comes when we are in the majority
Courage without conscience
is a wild beast
Moral cowardice that keeps us from speaking our minds
is as dangerous to the country as irresponsible talk.
The right way is not always the popular and easy way.
Standing for right when it is unpopular is
a true test of moral character.
To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily.
To not dare is to lose oneself.
Cautious, careful people, always casting about to preserve
their reputation and social standing
never can bring about a reform.
Those who are really in earnest must be willing
to be anything or nothing in the world's estimation,
and publicly and privately, in season and out,
avow their sympathy with despised and persecuted ideas
and their advocates, and bear the consequences.
The best way out is always through.
Yesterday I dared to struggle.
Today I dare to win.
It is not the critic who counts,
not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled,
or where the doer of deeds could have done better.
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena,
whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood,
who strives valiantly, who errs and comes short again and again,
who at best knows achievement and
who at the worst if he fails while daring greatly
so that his place shall never be with those cold
and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.
COURAGE IS GOING FROM FAILURE TO FAILURE
WITHOUT LOSING ENTHUSIASM

IT TAKES A LOT OF COURAGE TO RELEASE
THE FAMILIAR AND SEEMINGLY SECURE, TO EMBRACE THE NEW.
BUT THERE IS NO REAL SECURITY,
IN WHAT IS NO LONGER MEANINGFUL.
THERE IS MORE SECURITY IN THE ADVENTUROUS AND EXCITING,
FOR IN A MOMENT THERE IS LIFE,
AND IN CHANGE THERE IS POWER.
COURAGE IS A LADDER ON WHICH
ALL OTHER VIRTUES MOUNT
RPK HAS SET THE LADDER.
The truth is that our finest moments are most likely
to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable,
unhappy, or unfulfilled.
For it is only in such moments,
propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely
to step out of our ruts and start searching
for different ways to truer answers.
